This is a really good point. Allegedly Caravaggio murdered someone but the only context we ever hear of him is with regard to light and shadow. My personal point of delineation is I'll consider horrible person's creative endeavor after they've been dead a while lol.

Joss Whedon is a good example here. X-Men existed before him and can, in my opinion, exist after him. I refuse to promote, validate, enable anything Whedon was involved with because in my opinion, he is a deplorable person. But that is limited to whatever he had direct influence over.

Thats the cool thing about well told stories, it allows for different perspectives and take aways like that.

The Great Influenza by John M. Barry is a book about that epidemic I enjoyed. Another good one not specifically about that but more generally about pandemics is Spillover by David Quammen. For folks interested in learning more about this crazy crap.

I picked this one up on blu ray recently, kind of on a whim. I hadn't heard of it but I like MacLaine and Caine so I snagged it. I'm going to have to move it up on my watch list.

I invite people around the country who can spare some $$ to check out these charities vetted by Charity Navigator. Fwiw I'm donating to the California Community Fund's "Wildfire Recovery Fund." But there are other great ones too. Be generous if you can!

I remember when that happened. I was so confused, she's a good actor and picks interesting projects. She seemed smart and kind, had a good sense of humor. Now I understand it to be a kind of petty and gross attack on people (women) from other people (men) who don't like them for whatever reason.
