Proud of @unseenuk.bsky.social playing a leading role in the UK’s response to support vulnerable #Ukrainians arriving in the UK. All Ukrainian mobiles received a text message on arrival signposting them to this website ukrainianswelcome.org as well as giving them the Modern Slavery Helpline number

UPDATE - miss-reporting by @the-independent.com the bill will repeal the Rwanda Act & MS sections (sections 22 - 28) of the Illegal Migration Act. But it looks like public order disqualifications will stay in.

Maybe the Home Office need to read their publication again to understand the differences between smuggling and human trafficking

International cooperation led to the success of the operation, which is part of a wider task force combating Chinese human trafficking networks.

The criminal network, primarily composed of Chinese nationals, profited from the sexual exploitation of vulnerable women, engaging in document fraud, money laundering, and illegal immigration facilitation.
