Back home from windy camping, drinking the champagne we were saving for best and catching up on #glastonbury. So far I've seen/loved John Fogerty, Gary Numan and Franz Ferdinand. Not so much Brat Girl Summer as the Pensioners' Special.

Sunny Alnmouth. With wind. So much bloody wind I'm scared to get an ice cream in case it hits a passing beach lover in the face.

Busy morning up to now. My lovely expensive bra ripped when I was getting dressed so there was an emergency dash to Sainsbury's. 18 quid for a pack of 2 that are giving me a cleavage that's not actually mine. Now doing crumpets in a gale. #vanlife

Camping with a view - Alnwick-ish. If the wind doesn't yeet us onto Holy Island it'll be fab.

I had to delete the photo of Son2 celebrating his degree because it was attracting some seriously weird people. I thought we'd left them over on Twitter.

Still buzzing from Son2 getting his degree. I'm assuming he's still drunk in a gutter somewhere near The Shambles but I've already booked an Airbnb for the graduation and started worrying about what to wear. (I didn't go to mine as I had no one to go with me so this is a big deal for me.)

Here's how you remove Google AI from your mobile devices.

Happy summer nails. The salon was a hotbed of gossip. Who's been locked up, who will probably be locked up, and who hasn't been locked up even though the police were called out. It's like Crimewatch with hair dryers.

I see we’ve reached the “big tough dictator says Fuck on telly “ stage. youtu.be/frAEmhqdLFs?...

I find this chat about PIP being an in-work benefit disturbing. It's constantly reinforcing the tone of the "deserving" and "scrounger" narrative of welfare. My son cannot and will never work. His life is still of value. He still needs financial support to live.

Just finished "The Ends" by @tomshakespeare.bsky.social . Funny, feelgood, fish and ships.

@sarahvanpelt.bsky.social I don't know if you've seen him but Joey Mac on Reels is hilarious. Propa hellish.

Plenty studies showing that your postcode is a better predictor of your health outcomes than your genome.

The kids opposite have been in and out of a paddling pool all night. They're now all huddled under a gazebo, shrieking in the eye of a humdinger of a thunderstorm. I'm so pleased for them. It's really one for the memory bank.
