Indeed. This is a truly awful take from @telegraphnews.bsky.social
It’s just another example of them using any opportunity to push their ‘everything is woke’ agenda at the expense of reporting actual ‘news’.
The Telegraph stopped being a serious newspaper a long time ago.

Great series, terrible ending.

Ah, I completely forgot, when someone from Better Together said something during the campaign it was simply their ‘view’, however when someone from the Yes campaign said ‘once in a generation’ it was a cast iron commitment to be held against every independence supporter for 10 years.
My bad.

Here’s the actual Gordon Brown quote:
“We’re going to be, within a year or two, as close to a federal state as you can be”

Beat me to it! That’s exactly how I read it too 🤣

We were very clearly told by the Better Together campaign that the only way to guarantee EU citizenship was to vote no.
Will agree to disagree about the meaning of ‘Extensive’.
The Scotsman, 15 Aug 2014, ‘Mr Brown said that a new federal settlement could be delivered two years after a No vote’.

Scotland remaining in the EU?
‘Extensive’ new powers for the Scottish Parliament?
The UK becoming a federal state within 2 years?

There’s a hell of a lot to unpick here, however the thing that bothers me most is the fact that RFK jr has obviously asked for a full fat coke. A man who has made a career out of blaming ultra-processed foods for causing the obesity epidemic can’t even ask for a Diet Coke or a bottle of water?

As the burden of the state pension on the nations expenditure continues to grow as a result of an aging population it seems crazy to me to do anything that makes it less attractive for people to save towards a pension. Any changes to pension tax relief are extremely short sighted in my opinion.
