In the duskmourn kits they were a "locked" token to show when one side of a room was locked, and they're exactly half a card size (in addition to the smaller locked tokens also in the kit). Other than that situation they always seem useless, sadly

A few other notable moments from the day:
- had an opponent kill me with Odin's gameloss-touch
- got one opponent to 8 poison counters and another to 6 thanks to Fynn being on the bonus sheet and having a few deathtouch guys in my deck. So close
- took 10,000 in 2hg from a jumbo cactaur w trample

I've played a raccoon ramp deck in standard a few times mostly for laughs- but every time I've played this card my opponents have been shocked, and in the next game immediately respected it because it's kinda nuts lol

@gamershaunt.bsky.social please make sure this is in the prerelease playlist. Preferably add this song to the list like 5-8 times. Thanks in advance 😁

And half the stuff they include are real head scratchers. Magnet gems? Ok?? And a small pop up battlefield thing, without any grid lines, for a game that famously has a grid based movement system? What are we doing here?

Yeah the timing is the worse sin than the specific card choice imo. This could have been cool and people would have been at least sorta into it last summer. Why is it a year late? Same with the most recent store champs promos - one rotates in a few months and the other 2 are 2 yrs old and unplayable

To my understanding, yes. I'm really curious what that'll mean as far as relavant payoff cards we'll see in upcoming sets, since currently I'm pretty sure there's zero incentives to play them

I think Story Circle is the closest to a real consideration since you can choose the color when you cast it

I completely missed Town Greeter in the spoilers. Satyr wayfinder with several slight upsides? That rules so hard

I completely agree, and I really hope they do chill out the release schedule for next year.
MaRo said this year was over-packed (which, why not just... not? Print that many sets in a row?) and that they aren't going to keep this pace, but I'm curious what that will really shake out to be

Same, but every day I'm reminded that we're not going to get any cards of a white mage dunking on Mario in basketball 🥲

To be fair, in a set that's being opened as much as this, even a super chase card going for $50+ is kinda messed up.

I have a quest 2 and there are some really dope vr games. But I think development is either too costly or not appealing enough, so there just aren't enough games that are high quality. If more VR games were in the quality level of the top 10%, it would be a lot more popular
