One of the best fights I've had in this game; 25 minutes and 244 parries later, the Dualliste in the Flyer Manor is down #expedition33 #claireobscur

If your business model doesn’t work without breaking the law, then you’re not in business. You’re in organized crime.

My plans for a major retail emporium are being threatend by wholesalers who won't let me steal the stock.

The latest in a long line of terrible humans seeing if they can destroy people lives before asking if they should. If only sociopaths were seen as bad instead of rewarded.

I’m so looking forward to NG+ and 100%ing it. The soundtrack is constantly in my head and there’s 8.5hrs of it to listen to music.apple.com/ca/album/cla...

After completing Atomfall nearly a month ago (solid game btw, you should play it), I’ve now sunk almost 50 hours into Clair Obscur. It’s my first ever JRPG and this has to be one of the best games I’ve ever played. The story, soundtrack, characters and combat are at an exemplary level.

Received an email from Nintendo on the day they’re sending out Switch 2 preorder invites 🎉 Turns out today is also the day they decide update to their privacy policy 🤦‍♂️

I'm launching a newsletter! Workshop Alchemy will have practical tips, tested strategies, and lots of ideas to design better sessions for remote, hybrid, or in-person teams. If you want to design better workshops, subscribe: newsletter.Spydergrrl.com

Got the email about this earlier this week. Just so people are aware, this is an automatic opt-in for kids under 13 starting next week. You need to go to familylink to disable it. #ai #darkpattern #google www.nytimes.com/2025/05/02/t...

My just-teenage daughter told me I was born in the mid-late 1900's and I don't know what to do with that information

This graph still shocks me (in a good way); the reaction to seeing and hearing what's happening down south and Canadians saying "oh, hell no, eh?"

Fellow Canadians 🇨🇦, get out and vote for a strong government who'll stand up to the man-baby down south

These 'artificial lines' he talks about, why don't we just move them down from Canada and up from Mexico, meet in the middle, removing the US entirely

Bonkers chart from Canadian election polling.

"AI work is just as good as human work" is a statement that *always* flows from the direction of power. Employers to workers, producers to consumers, but not the reverse. Because it's not a thing people actually believe, but an argument: slop is good enough for you; you are slop.

Teams are not built in workshops. It's established by how you work together every day. There is no amount of team building activities that can overcome operational models that don't bring people together.

1. LLM-generated code tries to run code from online software packages. Which is normal but 2. The packages don’t exist. Which would normally cause an error but 3. Nefarious people have made malware under the package names that LLMs make up most often. So 4. Now the LLM code points to malware.

Classic abuser: I made a crisis and only I can fix it. You will thank me for fixing the crisis I made. Classic narcisist: I made a crisis for others, now they're all calling me to fix it. "They're all kissing my ass". Reminder that this person is not 14 years old. He is a giant man-baby

Just took my 10 year-old to see the Minecraft movie. I knew nothing about the movie, but it wasn't quite what I was expecting. Not terrible, but I wasn't anticipating much going in either. I'd give it a 6.5/10, and not as much fun as the Mario movie. 10 year-old gave it 4.9 burgers out of 5.

@seriouslyclara.bsky.social did you leave some of your more badly behaved ones behind while on your travels?

Alfred was wise. "Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn."

Something I’ve just realized; the majority of native & web apps are there to remove human connection. Now we have ersatz bots to fill the gap when we need to speak to a human. In-person friends & meetups are more critical than ever otherwise humanity’s future is living in tiny boxes alone

Add this to essential reading along side Marty Cagan's Inspired for building great products. newsletter.posthog.com/p/50-things-... * Small teams & trust can build great products fast. Being async supports this. * Understanding & mitigating risk is crucial. * Feedback loop & testing are mandatory

EA is open-sourcing one of my favorite games. I remember playing this week after week, a group of us lan'd up above my friends garage back in 96/97, while listening to Skunk Anansie - github.com/electronicar...
