Honestly. Sincerely. Resoundingly. Exactingly. Fuck every single Democrat who showed up last night and wore pink, held a little church fan, or a little white board. If you’re not bringing @algreen.house.gov energy, you’re fucking complicit.

Anything short of physically using themselves as human shields to prevent the Musk-ian takeover of all of our government infrastructure should be seen as Democratic cowardice and complacency. Take notes.

Draw your own conclusions, but Donald Trump is not behaving like a leader who expects democratic accountability for himself or his party next year or in 2028.

Why can we hear Beyoncé’s in-ear click track on the Netflix broadcast?

For far too long, greedy corporations have used inflation as a smokescreen to pad their profits. We cannot allow underserved and working families to continue paying the price.

going to be very annoyed if in 3-4 years elite Dems start breaking out the “most important election of our lifetime” line again because buddy, there were, unironically, two Most Important US presidential elections of my lifetime, 2016 and 2024, and the party fucked up both of them royally

In case you didn’t know- the US private healthcare market (and their profits > people m.o.) is precisely why healthcare costs are so much higher here than other countries.

Lukewarm take: gov’t depts. are important tools that we use to make sure civil rights are protected, we’re (generally) pretty safe. Elimination the Dept of Ed would be catastrophic. It’s already kneecapped and underfunded.

I talked to @cbsnews.com.web.brid.gy about the communities hurt by new school voucher schemes—and Trump’s plan to kill the Dept of Education. #EduSky www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/tru...

Trickle gonna start any moment...

I wonder what the first govt agency on the chopping block for Muskyboy’s DOGE

The existence of “recess appointments” seems like one of the several features of the US political system that assumes that those in power act out of altruism 100% of the time.

Brandon Boston Jr has been so good. Drop Cain or Green- but sign Boston to a legit contract. He’s earned it.

The Pels are playing way above what they should be right now. Keeping it close. We’re starting to see some late-game Willie errors, but this is a game we have no business being in, Joker or not.

So the Nuggets are really resting Joker tonight for their NBA Cup game v the Pels. It’s happening. We’re a scrimmage for other teams.

People are acting like authoritarianism will have a 4 year expiration date.

Something about birds and feathers.

I feel like one of the things I haven’t seen talked about explicitly a ton recently is the assumption from the right that govt regulation = bad. Food standards are a good thing. Auto safety standards are a good thing. Educational standards are a good thing. Medical standards are a good thing.

So this is a not-(yet)- real gov’t dept co-head, actively seeking applications for a dept. -that doesn’t actually exist yet- exclusively via DMing the acct. which requires users to pay. How is this not the most obvious grift ever to everyone?

Super important callout here- and shouldn’t shock anyone, really. That doesn’t negate how important it is to call it out.

My take on the Pels this year is this: It’s been a struggle to see the team work as intended over the last few years bc of injuries. Last year, we saw a mostly healthy team, and saw that the BI/Zion pairing doesn’t work. We’ve made no major changes to the roster for the past 3 yrs-

This is undoubtedly the best possible outcome.

NBA: Pels / Celtics NFL: Bucs / Saints NHL: Preds College: FB- LSU, Basketball- UConn MLB: BoSox WNBA: Sky Soccer: nah

Gerrymandering + taking over state legislatures has been a key part of the GOP strategy for the better part of the last century, and it hasn’t been a secret. The Dems haven’t countered in any real, meaningful way.

Rubio still sucks, obviously. But he’s at least semi-normal compared to the rest of the Idiocracy cabinet appointments we’ve seen.

Finally making my way over here. Muskyboy continuing to push far-right content to my feed just got to be entirely too much in the wake of the election.
