Another Green win, this time from Labour. The media (not least the BBC) give almost constant coverage to Farage & Reform, almost none to the Green Party, which now has 813 councillors to Reform's 70. Is it because we're not fascist enough? (graphic by @leftiestats.bsky.social)

This is what GB News is inciting its viewers to do. And this is why Ofcom must not be allowed to ignore it mainstreaming its hate into Britain's bloodstream. metro.co.uk/2025/02/11/m...

Timely wake-up call. The far-right billionaire's coup taking place in the US could very easily happen in the UK. British exceptionalism is a dangerously complacent delusion.

The white Far Right shooter in Sweden who went to a school for recent arrivals (immigrants) and shot and killed 10. Will the Far Right condemn this attack? No they will ignore it, because it proves they and their hate are the biggest problem.

When something is a success, people like to associate themselves with it. So it's noticeable how quiet the Brexiters are. inews.co.uk/opinion/brex...

Ed Martin, the interim US Attorney for DC, previously gave an award to a Jan. 6 rioter and alleged "Nazi sympathizer," who: - went to work with a "Hitler mustache" - blamed the spread of COVID-19 on Jews - allegedly told coworkers "Hitler should have finished the job."

I know little about Australian politics, but their current government seems to be on the ball. @teamlabouruk.bsky.social you should be take note!

Half of all TV coverage of Muslims in the UK was broadcast by the far right channel GB News, new research shows. And it was all negative. “The findings demonstrate an “excessive” focus on Muslims bordering on an “obsession”, according to a new report by the Centre for Media Monitoring.”

This country needs to pull its finger out on many fronts.

What happened to this country?

With Farage back on Question Time last night... ...here is your reminder that Farage was on BBCQT a record-breaking 35 times before he became an MP. And, further, that the panellist selection on BBCQT has been heavily slanted to right-wing think tanks and commentators over the years.

Forever guilty on all counts.

This will (hopefully) never cease to be staggering to everyone else in the world.

Question Time’s only been on five minutes and I’m already sick to the back teeth of the pale stale and male brigade whining on and on and on. And now that c*nt Farage is on… 🙄 #bbcqt

#KeirStarmer Lots of questions on immigration. None on housing. Why is the media so obsessed with immigration?

Left: Helen Whately, "We handed over to Labour much lower debt than we had inherited" Right: Peter Kyle, "There are facts in public debate.. Debt was £800 billion in 2010, it was £2.6 trillion in 2024"

I’m starting to think that the longer we shield Trump voters from the worst economic outcomes, the worse things actually will get. Sometimes people just have to find out the hard way, sad as that is. Yes, we will suffer. But at least they will learn that elections do have consequences.
