I would agree on the player, it's more on United to keep their wages in control and in hindsight they were giving too much to mediocrity. You're right though, it was an exciting signing (like Di Maria, Pogba, Mata...)

I think you can get to know the player and their attitude. Whether United made it worse or Dortmund brought the best of him, I'm not sure. Probably both.

Superb. I've got a bottle of 2019 waiting for the right time to be opened so another one to look forward to. The whisky was incredible as well - 18 year adds another layer of complexity

I'm still on a couple but we are at the point that it's the same 20 people arguing the same things, slowly entering middle age. Far cry from the 15 year old me joining a champ man forum all those years back...

Agree. And I much prefer the pace and general feel of a forum than how social media has become (algorithm based content).

It's a fair point - I guess a more general "world at war" rather than world war is more suitable.

How refreshing is it that a group of people seem pretty intent on escalating the world into world war.

Also picked up the good habit of driving away from the scene of the incident. Big data wins again.

Does the job I need from social media without poisoning my mind and making me angry at everything. Mostly at least
