This goes for anything for which the US is the single or principal supplier. Another example? Cloud IT services. If Trump weaponised access to @microsoft365.microsoft.com @googleworkspace.bsky.social, @amazonwebservices.bsky.social, Azure etc, even for a day, entire economies could be screwed.

Every one of these points is correct, and this is where we will end up. Too many people are wasting too much time on the delusion that a peace plan can be made to work, and that the US will have anyone's back going forward. We need to change gears now, not next year or even next month.

"They" in this context means Ukraine AND Europe, not just Zelensky as I saw @skynewsrss.bsky.social report. Trump is signalling he *won't* provide a US backstop. I fear Kier Starmer is flogging a dead horse, and just hope he has a plan B, as from here on in it looks as though Europe is on our own.
