Southampton conceded 4 last week; Newcastle, however, are so much more defensively robust and hence only conceded *checks notes* 3? Oh.

Working class background, north east of the country, soulful voice, anthemic tunes, loud driving guitars, lyrics of the monotony of poverty and the desire to escape? Classic Springsteen vibes.

He’s first bench over my Happiness Hedge of Robinson. Very happy to be totally let down by the Fulham man (Gl-assman-er), but the only other option was benching Huijsen 🤷🏻♂️Can’t win them all!

I brought him in this week, partly because I was so fed up with not enjoying this photo! 😆

And this is why! Imagine how I would have felt if I had gone Arteta over Glasner for a “safe result” and a “sure thing”? #FPL

I think a lot of my logic is based on feelings - how I’m going to feel if my AM loses their match. When it’s an upside chase, the feeling is very “oh well 🤷🏻♂️”, but when you’ve got the elite manager who “should” win, even a draw is actually disappointing. #FPL

We’ve got the 22 points to show for it, but you’re the real hero. 👏👏👏

But pleasing to see it still works. The long pinged pass, the cutting in from the right. They *can* still do it, both of them!

Yeah, I just don’t know if I’m the kind of manager who can wait and gamble on it 😆And when there are definitely onward options for 26-27…🤔

Loved the pod as ever guys 👍Really helped crystallise my AM dilemma, as someone who TCed Salah in 24 - do I use it for the safety of Slot in 25 (no, I’m not doing Emery 🙃) and use transfer/s for 26-27, or gamble (a big gamble) that there’s a great candidate with a good DGW36? Good job! 👏

Loved the pod this week as ever - realised at the end that since my church home group meet on a Thursday evening, I am indeed trapped in the Europa League cycle, ecclesiastically at least…

Ah, so maybe another 12-15 years yet.

There’s a wet-ware solution I think you’re already subscribed to, but it takes 12-15 years before you get to install the “making a cup of tea” functionality safely.

Feel like the Fulham Spurs ones would be really hard to call - will Spurs turn over a poor Man U or struggle to break them down and end up with a 0-0? Which Forest will turn up at Fulham - the Brighton or the Bournemouth versions? Then: immovable Fulham defence or unstoppable Spurs attack? 🤔

Might bench Palmer to be fair. But accepting that behaving a pen taker is always a risk, I feel like West Ham or Fulham (and maybe Brighton, tbf) are more capable of shutting a team down than Southampton are…

This guy. This is toddler-parent Glastonbury. My kids are 9-14 and he’s still a legend in my eyes.

Mbuemo or Wood, right? Potter might be casting a spell over West Ham, etc, etc
