Doggo is ill. Not even 9am and I've cleaned up two vomits. Good start to the Thursday. Other than feeling sorry for himself Doggo is okay. A case of colitis most likely, so another few days of this.

On a more serious note today is one of those days in the calendar when sometimes it’s not all love and roses. If some of this sounds familiar get in contact with refuge or safe lives. refuge.org.uk/i-need-help-...

Have ventured back to the north west for family time, and have taken the Matriarch out to bingo. Possibly the only one here with an original pelvis. Mother is showing me around her friends. Brenda seems a bit keen…

For #DurhamRestaurantWeek, I decided to try a new edition to the Durham food scene: FIIK. Seven courses of Nordic-themed food. Highlights were the Salmon Hot Dog (top left) and Njord-way (top right).

For all you Labrador owners out there, this should resonate. www.facebook.com/share/r/1DVJ...

#DurhamRestaurantWeek is in full swing, so it’s a visit to FIIK to sample their tasting menu. Basically being an Upper Middle class wanker for the evening.

Some snapshots take from around #Durham, taking in some overlooked spaces and the view looking towards Elvet Bridge. #Photography

Spent the evening treating myself to a small #tTastingMenu from Restaurant Faru in Durham. Two hours of food bliss. The Tenderloin and Rosti were the highlight, with the Beignet very more-ish. Hearty recommend if you’re ever in Durham, UK. Especially as this week is #DurhamRestaurantWeek

If 1000 job losses were announced in one day for another industry, it would make the top headlines. This one is going to take people by surprise with huge impacts on other sectors, cities, regions, life plans...

How else to spend a Tuesday evening except chasing down sharks off Amity Island, building public transport in San Fran, and trying to rule in Waterdeep? Good laughs, good friends, good times.

It’s #GameNight and we’re starting off with #Jaws. Movies quotes will be used excessively.

No resolution this year, but I have been trying to live slightly healthier and lose weight. Mainly through portion sizes (I ate way too much), hydration, more walking, visits to the gym, and reduction is sweets. I started at 297 lbs. Now at 287. Hoping to lose 14lbs (1 stone) by January’s end.

Finished this biography of Harry S, Truman recently. Written by David McCullough, it details the rise the farmer from Missouri to the Oval Office. An excellent read, insightful, and reading it you can’t help but compare the integrity of Truman with the current occupant of the White House.

Just finished watching #Section31 and all I can say is that it all felt a little…pointless? Pointless.

Controversial Opinion: Though Michelle Yeoh is amazing, Georgiou should have remained evil in Discovery S1 & not made into an antihero. #StarTrek #Section31
