I once tried and failed to climb that peak. I prefer looking at it from afar with this backdrop anyway.

When you look up and the universe is smiling back at you.

Serenity now

Friends. These are lots of my all-time favorite images. I'm letting them go, frankly out of desperation. You can download them all and make prints or use as backgrounds on your devices. Pay whatever you think they're worth ❀️ buymeacoffee.com/angrytheinch drive.google.com/drive/folder...

Sometimes it feels like it will reach the ground. Moving rapidly above you, shooting out spikes of colorful light. Deadly silent ferocious dance in the night sky. Sometimes it's eerie, almost frightening. Almost.

The Milky Way, Venus, Pleiades, Andromeda Galaxy, aurora, airglow, the Zodiacal light and an Iridium flare. All above a lonesome boat on a cold winter night in Kiruna, Sweden. Look up, there's SO much to see. SO much to learn. It never gets boring.

Can't believe it's been five years. I miss my boy.

When the night has come And the land is dark And the moon is the only light we'll see. Almost.

Polar stratospheric clouds for several days in a row now here in the subarctic. They are almost unbelievably beautiful but also linked to the destruction of the ozone layer.

There's been lots of aurora lately. It's actually dancing right at this moment. If you want to learn how to photograph the show you can download my guide here: drive.google.com/drive/folder... And pay whatever you think it's worth here πŸ™ πŸ’š buymeacoffee.com/angrytheinch

Hi friends. Been out of work for weeks which means I'm not getting paid this month. Selling a few lenses if anyone is interested. Maybe consider helping a struggling stranger out, see linked tweet. πŸ’š Started a new job now trying to get back on feet! I hate posting this.

There's nothing quite like it. If you want to feel tiny, just look up 🌌

It's January in the subarctic, midwinter. It's 5Β°C and rained yesterday. Snow is melting. Everything is fine, right? Right?

As you let your eyes adjust to the dark, layers upon layers of stars appear. And then, a bright fuzzy band across the sky. Our street in the universe, the Milky Way. Remember to look up 🌌

Sitting by a tree on a crisp autumn night. You lean your head back, look straight up and see this.

A double rainbow has nothing on a quadruple aurora bow.

Huge display of polar stratospheric clouds over Kiruna at the moment. ❀️

Frozen

I got an email from someone claiming to be interested in buying some of my photos. He wanted more information so I excitedly crafted an informative reply. Only to find it was just a crypto scam. DO NOT ever fall for this. This is always a scam. No exceptions.

Not the worst place to stop for a fika. 🌌

Good Morning 🌌

There's nothing quite like skies like these to make you feel small. 🌌

According to NOAA this historic geomagnetic storm will continue into Monday. We MIGHT see another peak tonight with aurora at lower latitudes than usual. Keep those fingers crossed! Learn how to shoot the aurora with this guide and consider buying a "coffee", it would help me out immensely! πŸ‘πŸ’š

The aurora season is very much over in the arctic! We are now experiencing close to daylight 24/7. Any aurora photos you see posted from the arctic now will be from the archives or from farther south in America for example. (Or, of course, Aurora Australis)

Zigzagging its way across the sky

On the news the other day they talked about how people are being fooled by AI generated images of the aurora. When you've seen the real thing, they're easy to spot but I get that it can be hard to tell. Mine are real and look out for my real-time videos, they show what I saw. 🌌

A stranger in the night.

One day we'll meet again. Guardian of the Galaxy.
