A version of the Darkwing plushy was released, but not the others. The gas gun was released in purple. A Darkwing costume was released but with a flat foam mask and no giant plastic hat. I'll have the foam version at my ComicCon Revolution - Ontario table next week.

For me, it was understanding pre-prod and prod, and how studios prioritise outsourcing production as opposed to being full-blown studios that do -all- the work (obviously there are some, but I thought the amount was higher initially). And that is reflected in what we're taught in school.

My fave was when they intentionally misquoted a Seth Rogen interview where he was very clearly talking about The Boys and reported it as being about Darkwing. When I called them on it in the comments they just ignored me.

Today's outburst brought to you by the fact they reported Jim Cummings returning as Darkwing in the Seth Rogen reboot and their "source" was literally just a fan being like 'yeah he told me at a convention, true facts'.

The only reason they gained such a massive following is because they intentionally misrepresented themselves as a Disney affiliate back in the day and only later clarified they were a 'fan' account, probably because Disney came after them.

I only dabbled a bit in 3D rendering and modeling and it the end-result was satisfying but I found the process frustrating. I've been thinking of checking out Blender at some point...

I should add, for me personally there was lots of other reasons why I did not remain in the STEM field and I am a lot happier where I am now... or at least I NORMALLY am when the animation industry isn't self-imploding.
