Sweeping generalizations, no. Although the survey results suggest the two men you know are outliers for their cohort, no group thinks 100% one way. Even with the survey results, the h.s. diploma group is split down the middle.

I get your concerns about divisiveness but I do think we need to understand what factors lead one to vote in certain ways, especially when it leads one to vote against their best interests. I posted this just after you: bsky.app/profile/anna...

I noted that those with h.s. diplomas are almost equally divided in having a positive opinion of MC and PP. It would be interesting to compare the information ecosystems of each group.

US presidential visits are a major security operation. It’s certainly much easier for the someone like the Canadian PM to visit Washington.
