I'm usually in the UK but currently in Canada(!) so all sorts of conflicting messages coming through. I ended up listening to comedy shows on BBC Radio on iPlayer :)

How glorious is that! I'm just reading about what a struggle it was for Beethoven to write and produce that work. Not just coping with deafness but lack of money and support. He got £50 from London’s Harmony Society that allowed him to live while composing.
