So a bunch of grandmas standing around w “I Hate Trump” signs will be beaten and jailed? Is that what he is suggesting?

If Trump is sending a couple thousand troops to places every time a few people break windows or set shopping carts on fire, could he run out of troops? Doesn’t he have to house & feed all these troops? Bathrooms?

I'm glad people are catching on about the police-state. Donald has not hidden it, but somehow the bigger picture hasn't received the attention needed. bsky.app/profile/oeis...

Sounds like the administration might be tempted to simply blame every disaster on DOGE. Not so fast, guys. Who handed that group the keys to *everything* in the first place?

Sounds like women should start dropping their menstrual blood off at the police station for appropriate disposal, just in case.

This break-up is getting messy pretty fast, and it’s brightening my day.

I think it would help if journalists consulted geriatric neurologists when writing these articles. It’s not just the content of Trump’s speech that is problematic. There’s the strange repetitive phrases, the misunderstanding of questions, and his increasing reluctance to read (ex teleprompter).

Today I honor my Uncle Ed and Uncle Bernie, who as teenagers fought in WWII to defend democracy. Also my dad, who was in the Korean War. And my grandmother, who was a nurse at Ft Dodge during WWI during the first pandemic. Mr. Trump’s message is disgraceful and is an affront to all who served.

The WH is handing DOGE the keys to NRC to restructure the agency and is also going to strip down its Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards to barebones. ACRS is the NRC org tasked with reviewing safety at nuclear plants & advising the commission on hazards.

Hegseth playing the religion card in a desperate attempt to keep his job is laughably predictable. But his recklessness and incompetence are endangering the lives of military personnel, and there is nothing funny about that.

I was born in 1966. A couple of months ago I asked about getting another measles vax. Had a titer done. It came back so low that my PCP told me to get (re)vaxxed as soon as possible, which I did.

Agree. They are not simply deporting. They are disappearing people to remote prisons for the rest of their lives.
