That’s what I love about academia. Smart people working together to solve problems that are pressing and helpful to society.
It’s the ideal place for people to change the world.
Combining R1 research with Undergrads isn’t terrible.

This thread is extremely raw and hits core to the heart. “The Greats come up together”.

I couldn’t agree more. I feel as if I’ve unlocked the worlds knowledge when I learn something from 3b1b, Karpathy, FreeCodeCamp, StatQuest or CS229/231n as compared to randomly watching videos of Trump slashing funding everywhere
