This is exactly why traditional education fails some students. When teachers don't have the time to individually address the more interesting ways they can teach that really grab the students attention

I rarely drink due to the empty calorie thing. Now only when we have a family dinner and plan to sit and chat after, do I indulge in a glass of wine

So all those years I never cursed just make me average now that I curse all day long at our current administration?

She had an allergic reaction. Would it be so hard to miscalculate the epinephrine dose they probably gave her?

My son married a Filipino but alas lost her to cancer. He eventually met another Filipino immigrant and they are now being married very soon. We have so enjoyed having her in our lives, learning a bit about her culture and making sure she is also comfortable in ours.

I know I am lucky. I can wear some pretty rough stuff even without an under shirt to protect my skin. But honestly, the one merino sweater I knit, seems just as itchy to me...and pill-y, LOL

as is typical, only major corporate entities will get a tariff break. We, the people, won't at all.

Keep confronting. Every single person who comes into contact with him, needs to read him the riot act. Like a good strong momma, dressing down a very naughty child

We so need that at our next local 50501 protest march!! Wish I were creative enough to work this up.

The only thing I love about crepe myrtle is the bark. When we bought our house we had them planted up both sides of the driveway. but the prior owners had committed crepe murder on them and they seemed beyond repair so we took them out. We now just have 2. Both tall with gorgeous bark

The best way to eliminate yarn pilling is to start with the right yarn. Short fiber yarns will pill constantly. Long fiber yarns will pill some to start with then barely ever pill again.
So many love merino. I hate merino, won't use it. And why? Because it will pill forever and a day.

couldn't have happened to a better guy. Of course he won't be able to pay any judgement.

We are facing the same kind of thing in Huntsville Alabama as Marjorie Taylor Green is coming to speak at the end of the month.
We can't, in good conscience, curtail her right to free speech. But we sure can protest outside in massive numbers and that is our plan

Good information to know. I feel better now knowing that there is an actual process to all this.
If I were to have a say, he would get a hate crime charge added.

So the guy just literally went and sprayed bullets into these people. And all he has been changed with so far, is 2nd degree murder. This is a death penalty case if there ever was one.

the Bernie meme was what started the trend!! Recently we had a zebra on the loose and so many did great jobs with memes involving Ed the Zebra. And I thought back to the Bernie memes and how it was really the beginning of a fun thing

We might just need a higher percentage this time tho. trump and his goons aren't looking at all this and seeing the bottom line. That things aren't working and none of them are safe in their elected positions if things don't change.

Too bad they didn't think that the actual human element of the army could have used that money to build day care centers on posts. Improved military housing. Updated parks and other recreational off duty areas. Helped young soldier families NOT NEED TO use the local food banks.

We need to keep convincing the ones who are still too scared to come out, that we will protect you. That our movement is peaceful. That it was such a moving, loving, nurturing day for all of us who weren't having to face jack booted thugs like they were in LA...

My Great Pyrenees used to go into the woods and bring back huge punky logs to go into the bottoms of new raised beds I was building in the garden. Alas, we have to keep her penned up due to a neighbor complaining...

At our house it is the garage that keeps our little tiger trapped. We have a lot of stuff out there that we use daily so we go in and out a lot. And she will dash out there and not come in when we call. So the door gets shut and she has to wait until be hear her or we go back out for something

Sorry, but don't agree with most of that. RSVP'ing with a group like 50501 means you are agreeing to behaving in a peaceful manner and that you will abide by the guidelines they are setting down.
And our clothing can be how we get our message across. Both my hat and my T-shirt have my message

the cops in our little town, Pulaski TN, put out a notice that there is "another group meeting in the near by park" and we have spoken with the state police about what response there should be.
How passive aggressive is that?

Agree. But obviously trump and noem don't know that, or recognize that.
I will be marching tomorrow and it is very likely to rain. It won't deter me one bit. Because our country is just too important to let a bit of rain bother me

I so want to print up the lyrics for some protest songs and hand them out to those close to me while we are marching and get them to sing along with me. Music has so much power and the words of such songs tell big stories.
