It's terrific, isn't it? I especially love to use it when I travel.

I've been playing all my YES albums recently but for some reason, this particular one is in constant rotation.

I never saw them in concert but I can imagine how magical that was. πβ€οΈ

I was always going to be a bit of an outsider, even then seen as weird. It took some time before I accepted and embraced that part of myself. I love who I am today. /End

Little did I know that many years later I would meet Bill Bruford after a show in Atlanta when he was playing with King Crimson (more on that evening later). 4/

My mom was furious but I was excited to receive new music in the mail. I thought this would make me one of the cool kids in school. My membership didn't accomplish this, but I loved the music anyway. 3/

I was giddy and excited as I cut out the miniature record cover stamps to place in the order form. If I remember correctly, you received 12 albums for a penny when you signed up. After that, a new record would show up every month at full price. 2/

I've always had a crush on Malcolm McDowell (more the Lucky Man version, not so much the Clockwork Orange character π). Filmed in an atmosphere of creepy coolness in New Orleans. And theme song by David Bowie and Giorgio Morodor. What's not to love?
Appropriate for today as it's #Caturday

Shirley Bassey was the best Bond singer.
Listening to Paul McCartney sing LIVE AND LET DIE reminds me of working at the movie theater. I must have seen that movie at least 50 times.

On the turntable now.
James Bond movies were his favorite back then (replaced by Star Wars in later years). I remember watching GOLDFINGER with him, especially since it was partially filmed in Miami at the Fountainbleu hotel. Watching these old films now is very different, and problematic.

One of my favorite things ever! I saved all the tweets back then so I could revel in the joy of it whenever I want. The best!
