It's a low bar.

And digital color is not bad in itself, there just seems to be a way of doing it that is popular right now that makes everything look like it came from the same place. Something about cutting down on lines so much to leave the rest to color ruins the drawing.

I feel like a lot of comics look the same. Like everyone’s playing from the same book but not willing to break away in an extreme way that establishes a single identity in the work that is unique to it. I see the digital colors and the flatness and my eyes glaze over

Sex is great, but what about the inescapable allure of Akira?

Just to let you know, I bought a large amount of those nibs from a seller on eBay who sold vintage nibs, and it seems these nibs specifically are vintage as well. The ones I bought were cheap, about $2 for a box full of probably over 25 nibs

You just gotta try more mobs and see which ones you like best. I’d recommend trying an all around great nib called the Sergent Major nib. It’s French and I found it watching a club of Mœbius inking with it. Its ink flow is much better than the G nib.

If you removed the Star Wars from Andor, and left just the narrative behind, would it still stand on its own?
