But two pairs is already a pretty good hand, especially if the high pair is Aces. If you want a really terrible hand that becomes a great hand, maybe they’ve got 4, 10, Jack, Queen, King (any suits). That’s nothing, but trade out the Four and it’s a Straight.

Probably the easiest is for two pairs to become a full house. So say they’ve got two Aces, two Sixes, and one Three. Trade the Ace for the Three and it’s a Full House, Aces over Sixes.
