How Mark Carney has flipped the polls 😏😁 #MarkCarney #LiberalLeadership #Canada #cdnpoli 🍁🇨🇦🍁 thewalrus.ca/pierre-poili...

Far-right populists much more likely than the left to spread fake news – study

I don't want to hate America, we are supposedly allies, but Donald Trump is making it very hard to love America.

‘We can’t count on the U.S. anymore’: Canada can pull away from America and thrive, economists say #Canada 🍁🇨🇦🍁 There are solid economic reasons for reducing trade with the States, experts say, now that huge tariffs could be imposed at any time. www.thestar.com/business/we-...

🇨🇦HEY, CANADA🇨🇦 PP is flailing. vm.tiktok.com/ZMkgDs7xt/

Also I really have a deep disdain for Canadians who think we should be American or that America is better...have you guys been paying attention these last few decades?

Carney compared to Poilievre is such an easy choice, the economic master vs the 20 year politician

So I took a bit of a break writing on social media and spent a lot of time just listening and reading posts...and I have come to the conclusion that nothing has changed for me, totally Team Carney and Team Canada haha

Why do I get the feeling that most people are just awful

"Poilievre doesn't have Trudeau to yell about. He's not best on economy with Carney in. He's off-putting. He doesn't have statesmanship. He's not the Man of the Moment". OShow Scandal Panel on why Poilievre's time has passed. #cdnpoli #peipoli

This is why the NDP is now out of the question for me, they are ruining everything

Seriously Freeland needs to erase that constant dismissive grin off her face, that will not make her appealing. Now I'm convinced Carney is the person to lead the Liberals.

I listened to him carefully and now I fully support him for leader of the LPC and PM

Pure and utter disgrace

Just a handful of posts from the dumpster fire site berating @jagmeetsingh.ca for his classless message from today. These are from both @ndp.ca and Liberal voters. 5.4K comments and counting.

Singh's response to Trudeau's announcement is amateur hour at the word factory. My god. The NDP and the Liberals need to stop attacking each other and focus on the true threat to Canadian democracy: PP and the PC party. 2025 is going to be such a shitshow, and we truly deserve better. #CdnPoli

My brain refuses to fully comprehend how scary this is

Pierre's year end interview choice is with a Russian asset.

Absolutely batshit that Pierre Poilievre, who will probably be our next PM, is sitting down with present-day far-right grifter Jordan Peterson. The alarm bells couldn’t blare any louder, folks!!!!!!

Canadians who think women's rights won't be under attack if Poilievre becomes PM are deluding themselves He used misogynistic tags on his YouTube videos The anti-abortionists support him The anti-trans movement, which is basically anti-women, supports him If he gains power he will cater to them

Share, so people can see the real Pierre #FF (fucking frightening)

We can thank Harper for bringing dirty Republican politics to Canada. Avoid PeePee to avoid MAGA coming to Canada.

I regret saying Trudeau should resign. I think he is the best alternative at this time. An election will happen early this year, there's no way a new leader will find the momentum to win anyway. Changing leaders is the easy fix, we saw it in the US. Trudeau must fight Poilievre.

So turns out the NDP is not very bright

Any Canadian supporting Trump is a fucking traitor and a deeply garbage person. Full stop.

Pierre Poilievre has promised Canadians he will singlehandedly bring down grocery prices, build millions of new homes, and revitalize the oil and gas industry. What happens to his support — and his supporters — when none of that actually happens? www.nationalobserver.com/2024/12/17/o...

IMPORTANT!

Ok I may not actually vote NDP, but the whole Trudeau situation needs to be resolved and only his resignation will do that now.

One thing is clear: Poilievre is so wrong for Canada.

So Freeland resigned. Clearly Trudeau has lost the confidence of the party. He should resign. That being said Poilievre is so so wrong for this country. I am voting NDP.

This feels like a good time to mention that the Leader of the Official Opposition refuses to prove he can obtain security clearance

"The price of apathy is to be ruled by evil men." Plato

Canada, Denmark and Sweden have been named among the most progressive and inclusive countries in the world.

Pierre Poilievre is the weakest CPC leader in Canada's history, a weak, anti-intellectual whose game is to evoke rage and negative reaction from non-critical thinkers to legitimize himself. To populists like Poilievre this is a matter of 'common sense,' this populist project of riling up nitwits.

I'm a Liberal supporter. And I'm going to say this. Much of Poilievre's "popularity" is from a piss poor job of Liberal messaging. They're not coming out strong enough. Not aggressive enough. The gloves should have come off two years ago. #cdnpoli #onpoli #peipoli

The majority of Canadians are progressive voters, yet Conservative’s have a comfortable lead in the polls for the upcoming federal elections. If we are going to keep Poilievre out of power, the NDP and Liberal party can not stay divided. Sign the petition: reportnorth.blogspot.com/2024/11/time...

'rhyming off slogans .. rather than solutions' 'politically selfish' Pierre Poilievre proves himself to be economically illiterate over and over. This nitwit can't even put 2+2 together to understand high beef prices are from drought/smaller herds/short supply. montrealgazette.com/opinion/colu...

Trudeau has no choice but to be diplomatic with Trump it's the only way to go...provoking Trump will only worsen the situation.

Including BlueSky it's very sad to see progressives tear each other apart on social media...this is why Conservatives win, they are united. Having the NDP and Liberals destroy each other only helps Poilievre who is probably the most radical conservative in the history of Canadian politics.
