This was my thought exactly. The interesting thing about that movie is that while it is ostensibly about lampooning the existence of trans people, it doesnt really depict any and is more about how women in general suck and are worse then men at everything that matters, like playing sports i guess.

While Elon has vast amounts of unjustified power over normal people right now, a colony on Mars presents the possibility of total control, of who gets to be there, what they can do, everything. Elon wants to be God and create a progeny to rule over all humanity. Mars is where he can do it.

The idea of space colonization, if its ever even going to be feasible, while the Earth remains a heavily flawed place for the vast majority of people, and likely to get worse, is a genocidal project. These people want to be the rich fleeing the Titanic, leaving the unwashed and unenslaved to die.

Terrorism is a meaningless, politically defined word, entirely dependent on who the actor or victim is, not the act itself. Israel can sneak explosives into hundreds of civilian accessible pagers and thats not "terrorism". Israeli soldiers can be KIA by enemy combatants and thats "terrorism".
