How many people say “it’s just a flu,” or “Covid is just like flu now, it’s no big deal.” Why is it so easily dismissed? All these people were shocked, is it a lack of public health ed? Willful ignorance? No flu shot? If narrowed to ~4 worst mos of flu season, that’s 9,000/mo dead, often many more.

The worst staph infection I’ve ever seen was on the back of a woman at a hot yoga studio I used to go to. She was using one of the studio-provided shared mats. Her back was covered in angry red staph pustules. Nope nope nope. Ended my membership that day, won’t go again to a place like that.

After much mulching of yard plants, lifting/carrying of heavy bags myself due to a broken wheelbarrow, + an oven deep clean today, lots of reaching & twisting - my shoulders & arms are screaming in protest. Whoever invented ibuprofen, I think of you & thank you often.

This 👇 is how dictators stay in power for decades & lifetimes, they conveniently amend constitutions every few yrs to allow them more corrupt time. Fortunately it’s not so easy here & hopefully has the proverbial snowball’s chance of passing, although it does already seem pretty hellish here now.

Perk of single life: 98% of the time, I eat the exact same thing for dinner every night: Salad with sautéed tofu, olives, mozzarella, sunflower seeds, apples, dried cranberries, apples, cottage cheese, hard boiled egg. Sometimes some croutons. No worry, no fuss, no cooking, no stress.🥗 🍎 🥚
