*chasing

I distinctly recall craving 2-nils last season when we were legging ourselves for 95 mins for what felt like every 3 days, cussing a late winner or equaliser.

Incredible player. Truly dreadful pundit and commentator.

Since we beat City on Dec 1st, we've drawn 6/14 games. The only win in that time that you could argue was impressive was Bournemouth away. We've drawn against some dross. However, if we continue that form, we end up on 86 points. Arsenal would need 2.54 points per game to match us.

This is where I'm at too. Our last four performances are a cause for concern. I'm getting a bit sick of saying, "it's a decent point in the end". We need good performances in the next two...

Yep, decent performance by Everton, but Liverpool underperformed given the circumstances. Perfectly reasonable to expect 1st to beat 16th though.

Your comments about realising when the ref is just not going to give you anything. Bang on! Be smart. Win in spite of it and laugh at them after.

Win in spite of this shite.

I am also still fuming, but I do wish we would just win games that were supposed to win. The ref was shite, BUT... this was 1st vs 16th. We also drew with the team that was in 13th or 14th at the beginning of January. Need to be colder and we could do without the red cards.

Easier said than done, obviously.

Whilst I do think refs buy in to the romance of an upset, our guys (including the manager) need to do their best to rise above it. It's UNBELIEVABLY annoying, but the feeling of winning the league in spite of it will be all the sweeter. Up the reds (but not the cards)!

Never ever use the 's' word! 😂

That was a painful listen! Also a painful watch. Felt like one of those games where everybody wanted an upset (apart from the reds of course). 7 points clear 🙂

He's having one, isn't he.

And that's why the club will be listening to offers for them all in the summer.

Now we know why none of the senior players involved today are unable to force their way into the first 11. Awful performance.

If we beat Everton in the next game, we have a 9 point buffer! That'll alleviate any scoreboard pressure from our side. Huge game.

We sign good people and I love that ♥️

The best thing about this photo is that our rivals have been waiting for 6 months to use it against him and he's spoiled their fun.

I'm referring to his comments inviting Canada to become the 51st state. Tongue in cheek I'm sure, but feels like a soft attempt to test the water.

Trump going for a land grab here, which may well backfire.

His answer to one of my questions yesterday has blown up - turns out even head coaches have to explain football to their parents! check out my press conference review where I analyse his answers: youtu.be/eLE4VrPn6KM?...

I both adored and loathed Batistuta by equal measure. Is that normal?

I made some comments very much along these lines last night. I think VAR could (should) be brilliant. The people using it seem more interested in servicing egos however, be it their own or those of their colleagues.

Anyone else noticed that Moyes managed Everton for 516 matches and we've played 516 matches since then? That's pretty weird, right? It's been a "Moyes" since Moyes managed us.

It's fun playing 'spot the Arsenal fan'!

I have told myself that when we need 2 PPG to reach 90 points, I'm breaking out the champagne!

There are 2 half marathons local to me (Chelmsford and Colchester - both cities) that are a week apart I think and one is double the price of the other. How??

It's for reasons like these that I do my best to stick to smaller events organised for runners, by runners. Big commercial events companies charge through the nose and offer no wiggle room when things like this happen.

Please please please do not let Salah know that Casemiro earns the same 🙏😬

What was that line John Henry used again...

Bet they won't finish 3rd though.

Yeah, Neville seemed as exasperated as the rest of us to be fair. These dumb ex-referee takes are becoming tiresome.
