Huh, I never noticed, but now that you mentioned it, I can hear it haha. Yes, the second game had a lot of cool level themes, but it didn't do much with them beyond the basic concepts. This one is much better at using those themes almost to their fullest potential.

Developed by Neversoft and published by Activision in 2010 for PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii, this game is currently unavailable to be purchased or played on modern platforms, so you know what to do.

A real shame it was too little, too late. After years of Activision milking the franchise to oversaturation, few were paying attention to Guitar Hero at this point, which resulted in a game that could have been the beginning of a new era, but ended up being its final goodbye. Yes, I said final.

Dude, Gavin in Constantine was SO GOOD. Love that movie, and he's among the reasons for that.

Ha, that's a good one. If we're considering a hypothetical scenario where I'm a strong person actually capable of partaking in a fight, it'd probably be a Metallica song, either "Sad But True" or "Moth Into Flame".

Thank you Lorena, we are all very lucky to have such a lovely person like you around here 💙

I've been having a really good time finally tackling Breath of the Wild this year, so it's probably that. But I also finally got to play Guilty Gear Strive thanks to the Switch port, and that game is AMAZING. And Risk of Rain 2, I'm having a blast with this one as well.

Me too. Until that faithful day when I lost my save and all the little animals I had unlocked. That was a sad day.

Let's go!! I love it to, it's my favorite franchise

I did, for like 5 minutes. It was enough for me to know it would be a multiplayer-only game for me 🫠 Yeah, I heard about it. But I was told the GameCube version of Metal Arms is way more stable, so that's probably the version I'll play when I get to it.

Yooo, I know about this one, I'm patiently waiting for a Switch port so I can finally play it, it looks SICK

Especially if it also comes with a "where are they now?" like Crash 1

Objectively? It kinda was. But my nostalgic bias towards it says that Jersey Devil is a great game haha

Surprisingly relatable

Enter the Gecko is a little more consistently good, I'd say. But I prefer the third game for it's sheer variety in scenarios and the improved presentation. Overall, both are great games. I never played the first one tho, do you know if it is any good?

Second one is Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven, a PS2 ninja stealth game, it's really cool. Third one is Solar Ash, a very engaging indie movement-based action adventure game made by Heart Machine, the same studio behind Hyper Light Drifter.

I do! I never played it, but I did hear good things about it. Looks really charming too, with the whole "children's dreams" motif.

I mean, it's no Spyro or Banjo, but it's still a super fun, creative game. The level variety is nice, it looks colorful, and the comedy is really charming, if not a little dated. If you're into this era of 3D platformers, I'd say it's one of the good ones.

Thanks dude, I really appreciate it!!

It is!! I actually played it for the first time just a couple of years ago, it's a really cool little game.

Love this one. It's not a game I would recommend to everyone, since there are so many micro mechanics and little annoyances that get in the way of the basic beat em up gameplay. But for those who can overlook or even enjoy those things, yeah, really fun game!!

I saw some gameplay footage and wow, some rooms are straight up recreations of scenes from the original, that's so cool. Looks like the perfect game to play and have a laugh with friends, passing the controller and seeing who can go the furthest without falling victim to the bullshit haha

Cookie & Cream is so much fun when played with the right person, one of the coolest co-op games out there. It's been awhile, but I remember having fun just messing around trying to do big combos in Trapt I haven't played the other two, but I've been meaning to give Metal Arms a try, if looks fun!

Yooo this game is awesome. Yeah, the destructible environments are a sight to behold in this one, and the gameplay itself was super fun too!!!

Never played this one, but "absolutely unfair traps and trial-and-error gameplay"? Sounds like a truly faithful recreation of the Dragon's Lair experience in 3D. And the cel-shading looks great!! Sounds like a fun/frustrating time, I'll have to give it a try one of these days.
