Ever since meta gave trump money, I feel like a lot of people (including me have jumped ship - it feels kinda insane to be profited off of by trump supporters, when trump wants trans ppl (like me) eradicated - but I wouldn't be surprised if the algorithm is just plain bad in addition to user loss

Watching it (in French, for reasons) made me wanna read the manga - and if you have space on your reading list for it, I would recommend it even more.
As for other series recs hmm I'll second Centaur World (I cried) and also say the first season of Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal (I cried)

If you haven't watched Dungeon Meshi yet (I knooow it's a popular one but just in case you haven't seen it yet) - do! The food depictions and world building alone were enough to hook me, and that's before the story even really got going.
