Microwaves admittedly do not have the temperature control that electric kettles do (and I love my kettle, make no mistake). But if you are able to get the water to the appropriate temperature, heat is heat in this case.

Just to be clear, I am not saying that it's okay to microwave the tea bag with the water; doing so ruins the tea. But not everyone is able to have a kettle at home or work.

Bele Chere was at its best in the 90s when it was for everyone. Those last years felt very different, but I'd love to see it come back.
