Thoughts on the new Discord redesign: Looks okay. Title bar doesn't integrate into KDE yet so there's just a giant useless bar at the top. Server icons are a bit small. They're also rounded rectangles instead of circles now for some reason. Oh and the new message box. Yeah n o

Been seeing people say that the new switch must have an OLED screen, and that a “LCD is unacceptable in 2025” But like - I genuinely don’t get the hype over OLEDs? Give me an LCD any day of the week, honestly. Better brightness, no retention issues, no ghosting, etc. I just don’t get it. IPS ftw imo

Having now fully swapped to the AMD machine I am amazed at how much that bad Intel 14th gen was impacting everything. No more hanging when starting every program, no more audio errors with zapping noises, no more random crashes or bsods. Not going back.

Why is there a part of me that wants to do exactly this except build a microcontroller into it and do all the things mentioned in the video to make it safe and support multiple power ratings etc Sounds like a fun if not somewhat dangerous weekend project.
