My controller dongle is working great on my Supergrafx, but feels like connector is a tiny bit short so I must carefully plug it in to make sure it has good contact. Could make an extension like you did for the Duos? Any chance we will see master system, pc game port, or ps/2 keyboard port dongles?

Still excitedly waiting - just finished up setting up my Supergrafx with a turbonanza, turbo everdrive pro, and humble bazooka blue retro dongle - looks and plays amazingly on my tink4k but all I can think of is how nice it will be to use a real pc engine controller instead of my 8bitdo DIY NES pad

Awesome! Glad to hear. I have been patiently waiting for mine for many months now, but as long as I get it eventually I’m ok. Not desperate for immediate GameCube time lol.

We need these with the cutout for the new Ethernet port from the flippy drive. They sell the backplate with the Ethernet but without the hdmi. You have hdmi without Ethernet. Join forces to benefit all mankind,

I feel like an idiot. I spent so many nights pissed off when my controller wouldn’t charge. I thought it was just me or my cable. Now find out 15 years too late that it was just a convoluted charging system.

Problem is that some vaccines are extremely useful with a long term safety profile while others are risky, ineffective, and/or lacking any long term safety data. These federal/global agencies, governments, and news outlets do a lot of damage when they lie/gaslight by treating all vaccines as equal.

The early 90s were the best - Nintendo/Sega/NEC had very diff hardware allowing for diff experiences & surprises. Similarly Commodore/Atari/IBM Compatibles/Sharp/Fujitsu/NEC were very diff in the PC space. Now literally everything is either an x86 PC or an Arm SOC with little uniqueness.

It’s lame when it’s a purposeful software incompatibility, but I quite miss the days of multiple different companies with vastly different architectures in the pc and console worlds - gave each platform a unique flavor. Today everything feels the same.

I remember those stand alone physx cards - nvidia really wanted to make it a thing

They are in political positions where the merit is based on popularity. It is the nature of a democracy. However for non-political positions, skill set, experience, and results should be the only things considered in hiring not superficial traits.

That’s not at all what they mean. They mean it was caused by allowing race to count for more than skill/competency when hiring and promoting. If segregation happens because of a skill gap then you work on building skills not forcing less skilled minorities into positions.

Yea Turbo Duo, Turbo Express, Game Gear, and Sega CD (and the Japanese equivalents of these) are the worst leaking consoles around. The only thing that compares is clock batteries in various consoles/pcs.

Or these, for CDi, the bottom one is more iconic for CDi but the top one would also be great for Retro PC because the board would be the exact same for the super popular Gravis Gamepad of the DOS/win95 era.

Will they still be based on 8bitdo PS1 Classic boards? Because of the somewhat niche use of that particular 8bitdo board I was thinking of picking up 10 of them to have for use with your boards, but wanted to be sure it was still based on that system.

Or you could hunt. There is little more satisfying than being able hunt down your own dinner and provide for your own basic needs. You don’t truly feel alive until you start living more as our ancestors did - the way we evolved to live. And wild game always tastes better.

But a world without cheeseburgers, filet mignon, and steak fajitas is not a world I would want to live in so we will have to accept the consequences

Wouldn’t ps1 digital’s hdmi direct mode to the tink4k be even better because there is no analog in the signal path?

Are you going to keep any of these on hand going forward? I recently acquired a Laser Active but it’s pretty far down on my repair/refurbish queue so I am not sure if I will need this or not. However I don’t want to find out later I need it but it’s no longer available.

I haven’t looked into Amstrad as thoroughly yet - was there any reason you went with the 464 instead of the 6128 or either plus model? I know the 464 is more iconic. Are most games only using the regular 464?

I hope to move on to the European/North American 8bit and 16 bit computers (besides normal PCs I have) once I finish all the work on my recently purchased Japanese collection. You seem to be 6-12 months ahead of me lol. It’s good tutorial. Too bad European stuff seems more expensive than Japanese.

How are things coming? Are you planning to sell these or open source? I have been waiting for a solution for these less popular controllers for a long time.

Are you sure everything is working as it should? From what I remember - that left side wasn’t a second battery, it was the clock oscillator and it should remain intact for proper function.

Yes this happened with mine too. I bought mine 4-5 years ago for cheap “not working” - the PAL version with RGB Scart with MPEG card, a bunch of games and VCDs for cheap - just needed to pry up the spindle and it was good as new.

If it is happening as described - it is horrible - but in my opinion this is more a case of different hospital departments not communicating. The people doing screenings for family services are likely separate from those giving care. Stupidity not malice.

Are we sure the drug tests were administered AFTER the medications were administered by the hospital? If you are failing a drug test before they administer meds then the content of the meds would be irrelevant.

Have you released these anywhere? I recently picked up an PC-8801FA, X1 Turbo, and FM77AV20 and I would like to do the same gotek mods.

Awesome I can’t wait for your Playdia and Loopy RGB mods to be finished - both of mine are sitting waiting for you with cap kits and a new laser/floopy respectively lol - the USB for loopy is a great idea. I have plenty of other projects for the mean time. I’m following behind all your jap PC mods.
