Celebrate October by posting arachnids and spiders with the tag #Arachtober. I am jciv, a macro photographer living in South Texas, USA, who loves spiders. At the moment, I am posting mainly stereographic 3D macro photos. 🇺🇸📸🕷️ https://arachtober.com

Thanks. Sounds like you are halfway there but your eyes crossed too far. If you want to try viewing the 3D again, here is a video tutorial. www.youtube.com/watch?v=74ha...

@arachnology.bsky.social can you add @jessmarsh.bsky.social to the arachnid starter pack?

I'm not in charge of the starter pack. Try going to the page and post there. I have no idea how they work. I just learned they exist.

In case you didn't know, the former director who fought hard against the wall is no longer there. I don't think they will survive another term without a wall.

I am in South Texas, near the border. Traveling is hard at the moment, but someday. Shooting new scenery in stereo is always interesting.

I had no idea how deep stereo photography got. Hadn't really looked into equipment or techniques in years. I just shoot cha cha and crop and minor edits in Lightroom. I did have a dual camera setup for a short time (a pawnshop deal for an identical camera and kit lens) but the first one died.

I hadn't heard of that before. Thanks. I'll check it out. I was wondering about a better way of sharing these. Counting the ones I did years ago, I'm over 100 stereo photos on flicker. www.flickr.com/gp/jciv/z54M...

Thanks. I am having fun with them. Been shooting stereo macros occasionally for years but it's been forever since I posted them. I am still posting them daily on Flickr. I need to start posting here again while everyone is moving over here. www.flickr.com/photos/jciv/
