I think that happens, getting caught up in motherhood. It’s a new role and another way of defining yourself. But being a mother isn’t all that you are, as important as it is. Remember self care. Can’t pour from an empty cup as the saying goes.

That’s a great card and journal prompt. I can relate to your responses. My friends are mostly from the past and while I’m still in touch, I don’t see them daily anymore. But this allows me to explore who I am more deeply without the influence of others, as you pointed out.

Not only can they refuse service according to this article, but doctors and other personnel can be fired for the same reasons. I see this as a vicious circle. Fire the docs who would be willing to treat Democrats and unmarried people, create more Republican VA who won’t treat. 😡
