Rewatching Ruby-Spears' Centurions reminds me of how shallow animated toy commercials were when I was a kid but there's a lot this show gets right. They go to moon bases and submarines, everything Lego had enticed a kid with in the 80s, and the machinery and explosions are straight out of an anime.
