I’ve also been playing through Avowed and having a marvelous time.
Not only is the game visually stunning, the exploration is very well done. I’m a diehard for good, meaningful exploration and discovery. Avowed nails this.
If you liked Outer Worlds, it’s that but fantasy and improved. I loved OW.

In the interim, I got to check out the Elden Ring Nightreign network test. Aside from some connectivity issues on day one, I had an absolute blast in the windows I was able to participate in, even winning a run as the final play test window came to a close. Seriously down to the wire.

I've been trying hard to not lose myself in the fear, anxiety, anger, and uncertainty.
I know that I did last go around, and it's been a concerted effort to not relapse into that.
But y'all. I'm tired. I'm stressed. I'm worried.

I'm scared about what this week & the next & the next many years may hold.
I'm angry at watching institutions crumble with no real pushback other than "tut tut"s.
I'm livid at those close to me who voted for this shit. What a total betrayal to my family. From so-called family.

I’ve been fortunate to have escaped that meager survival state almost 20 years ago. But I live in a state of perpetual fear of returning to it.
And with everything going on in US politics currently, I’m terrified.
And angry. Furious at the callous selfishness of others.

I couldn’t put it any better. I’ve been increasingly more and more disillusioned by our elected officials. Granted, my opinions were already pretty low, but it’s basically zero at this point. Cowards all.

I totally get this. I can draw, but just not to the level I want to represent my vision in the various projects that I've made.
I've considered trying out the light crowdfunding options on itch and just slowly update the product with new art at certain levels.
