Folks understand that alt text can be hard to write but they want to make their feed more accessible, its may seem silly but its a small form of disability advocacy and small things build up

Using alt text on images helps reach a lot more folks here on bsky, some folks won't see any images w/o alt text and others won't share unless images have it

Thats such a good idea! I think I'll have to try to set up a dark room box for drying and do a test printing where everything is done outside, aside from preping paper since I'm gonna use pre treated ones for a con

I'm not sure I would have access to a garden hose, I'd have to ask con staff. Its a camping con so we wouldn't use the showers for this, maybe a mix of a tub and a watering can would work? I'm just not sure how to make enough shade for rinsing outside

I think I'll just need to be better at digging through folks profiles and judging the vibes a bit more

Last time I did wait until sending (I still have the pieces) and I've thought about back n forth WIPs but it doesn't really fit with my "at the mercy of the universe" creating method and if the other party isnt making ceramics our timelines can be way different

I use Kentucky Mudworks' iceman with grog. I use it for mainly sculptural pieces but it works well for functional things too. The grog is pretty small so you can make lots of different textures and its light enough that it works well with underglazes.

No one who actually uses this site whats this. We all came here to get away from this shit. Listen to users, not boardroom smoke and mirrors.

I love seeing all the different art you make. It's always reconizable to me but also shows such a range in skill and creativity.
