I want to go back in time ten years and show my past self this SNES gamepad to HDMI connector adapter. What a weird thing. Context: it's for use with a SNAC adapter and a MiSTer to use original console controllers with the MiSTer lag-free. I just think it's neat.

I’m super impressed with the MiSTer ecosystem. It’s easier to set up than RetroArch. 🥲 Handles controller configuration better too. Got my Tekken 2 on earlier, it was a good time.

My wife asked me earlier if anyone I listen to (read: mostly the goth scene) is actually trying to push it forward in terms of sound and I realized…dang. Not a lot of prominent artists in the scene making anything that would have sounded out of place in 2005.

Not trying to be a massive downer, but the Ross case isn’t as relevant to genAI as people seem to think (in part because of the misleading Wired article). Ross wasn’t using genAI and they were building a *direct* competitor to Westlaw with Westlaw’s data. They were screwed from the start, AI or no.
