I was at the Philly game in DC that year, those of us remaining in the stands were hoping for more Philly goals just to make clear what a dumpster fire this franchise was and is to this day.

Not sure the Baltimore plan is going to do as much as they hope, won’t move the needle for the glut of talent in PG/MoCo/DC/NOVA. Having an MLS Next team will help some but there are fundamental issues need fixing and need to to do better for the kids who actually live around DC

In top youth club circles around here I see little interest in DCU’s program. One kid on my son’s team (u10) drives to Philly for one training with the Union a week. The top kids all end up elsewhere

For 29 years I’ve attended matches, home and away. This 30th season is the first where I will not be attending any matches. I only have watched one match this year on TV. It’s also poisoning my overall interest in MLS. They have destroyed something I love and I’m heartsick about it.

I see no reason to follow this club under current ownership. And I have to own a part of the failure as I was very wrong in backing them and seeing improvement where there was none. Frankly, I’m ashamed of myself and my judgement.
