Yeah, I'm getting back into DOTA. Time to play some unranked to get the muscle memory back before I start ranked again. Lowkey hoping the MMR decay has dropped me out of Immortal so games will be less sweaty, but TBH it probably just means I'll have worse teammates.

Started a new job today after a very, very long time (10+ years) at my old job. Went from a pretty small business (<50 employees) to a big company. So far, the differences are monumental, and there's definitely going to be an adjustment period. Wish me luck!

Hit HR45 in Monster Hunter Wilds over the weekend. I had a lot of fun. The game is very streamlined compared to World. This is mostly a good thing. Don't know if it's easier or not - World was my first and I had to "git gud". Interested to see how the inevitable xpack compares to Iceborn.

I also ran the benchmark for Monster Hunter Wilds finally. Massively better than the first beta which I played on my old box. 1440p, Ultra, RT on high - 95 FPS w/o framegen, 145 with. Real glad I snagged that 4080 Super at MSRP in November.

Finally got around to pulling the extra NVME out of my old computer for my new build. I am once again in awe of how easy Gigabyte made it to install NVME drives on their x870 boards. No tiny little screws, just easy to use latches. Hardest part was pulling out the gigantic 40 series GPU.
