As a couple, childbirth, although that's probably just the ultimate culmination of sex. Not what you meant, but your question made me think, so for non couples, saving someone's life; that's the quickest way to go from strangers to a meaningful part of each other's life.

I fully support the sentiment, but it kind of seems like "Dolls" should be worthy of a letter -- Dolls Of Goo Enthusiasts?

Although I was never a Led Zeppelin fan (in my youth, Queen was dismissed by some as a LZ ripoff, so I was biased against LZ), I've always thought this was a great song.

That makes sense; I agree with what you're saying. Still, when I hear "One Hit Wonder", I will usually think of the hit ("Come on Eileen", "What's Up?"). Often, I don't even know another song by the artist. For Augustana, I have other songs that come to my mind before "Boston".

I never thought of Boston as a one-hit wonder, maybe because I liked other songs more, e.g.: www.youtube.com/watch?v=THRn... #Augustana

I've never understood the division between the US and its territories. There are 31 states that were once territories; why can't we view it as we're all part of the US, even if we're in different places in the cycle?

A part of me wonders what percentage of Americans even know how to read anything at all. I'm thinking that it is a small % and contributes to having banned book lists in the first place.

The first step to solving any problem is diagnosing it correctly. You owe it to yourself to be the MVP of team jellycat.

Seems to be equal parts differences in manners in the society at large and what a show's producers choose to show us. Had there ever been a polite form of address in American English, it would have become extinct 50 years ago. Production/editing in Western dating shows always favors drama over love.

I appreciate that the cast of Singles Inferno largely support each other. The world can always use more civility. A person may have only one significant other, but we can all use friends.

Have you set up a hotkey to spell that last one for 4 years?

My guess is that they can only use so many "e" and "n" letters, and between Denver and ESPN, they are blowing through their quota.

The first people who come to mind are a couple of 400m hurdlers, Edwin Moses and lately, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone. But yes, Mikaela has had an awesome career.

As a male, I apologize for the sexism -- it would be nice if it was just as applicable to daughters -- but I've never found a better poem.

Perfect venue to record that song; captures empty well.

Mine too. "Cover Me Up" and "If We Were Vampires" are likely better songs, but "Molotov" speaks to my soul.

Two of my favs. I appreciate that Kdramas, those two in particular, have so few throw-away or cliched characters when compared to American shows.
