Whenever I get stuck in that back-and-forth, I think "something is wrong with how I'm doing this" but it hasn't helped yet.

Which matters more to you: grip or flexibility? Innova Gstar stiffens under 25Β°F but stays grippy. Discraft ESP FLX stays flexy but loses grip. MVP Neutron Soft stays grippy and flexy. MVP Electron Soft is grippy/flexy and my preferred for throwing putters in the cold.

I have five SONOS devices, all running S1 (the old app that supports their early devices). I really like what I have, but given the past year, I'm not sure what it would take for me to buy SONOS again. Might be for the best... I'd rather be investing in an open system, but I don't know what

I'm splitting time between clj and ts right now. I miss immutable data and macros/threading when I'm in ts, but I also (badly) miss typing when I'm in clj.

My fav Christmas memory was finding my first bike under the tree. I immediately took a wrench and started "fixing" it, before even taking it for a ride. I was maybe 8 yrs old?

I'm current using SB and Chromatic, but my vitest-powered suite is separate. I'm looking forward to your writeup!

Have you read the Books of Babel by Josiah Bancroft? It starts with Senlin Ascends. Best series I've read in the past few years.

I think it just has a reputation for being hard and slick. Like everything Innova, it's hardly consistent, though. Some runs are softer, some are grippier, but Star has always had the better reputation for feel. Newer halo/etc is definitely better, but it's hard to shake that early impression.

What would you find useful? Most of my buyers clicked "buy now" and ebay took their money. I often leave the feedback "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" but it's just a courtesy since they didn't really do anything.

I don't hate it, but all the other plastics are better

Yeah, that makes sense. My dislike of starter sets is pretty irrational, I think. Watching a beginner contort their body to misthrow a driver 100 feet into the bushes is just painful. I think I've lost perspective on the importance of having fun rather than focusing on throwing form from the outset.

Starter packs make me sad. No beginner needs a 9-speed (Kasta), and starting lightweight (Innova) is a disservice because it feels so different from anything they'll graduate to. I could get behind the other Kasta starter pack, I guess. Stig, Berg, and Reko. Long-ish, short-ish, and putter.

As someone currently running React 19 in production, I really should know what SuspenseGate is, right?

SolidJS looks great. I keep using React because I spend the majority of my time working on application issues that aren't related to React. The framework isn't the problem. 🀷 But SolidJS really does look good, as does Svelte, and I should think about using one of them for a future project...

Interesting use of NonNullable. This is what I have in my projects: type Nullish = null | undefined const nullish = (x: unknown): x is Nullish => x === null || x === undefined const notNullish = <T>(x: T | Nullish): x is T => !nullish(x)
