Like... if you're going to give me extremely fine-grained control over who I can see, why do I have almost no control at all over who can see me? I can't talk about my real life without future employers seeing it? How does that promote "openness" exactly?

I have to say, I'm a little bit confused by the purpose and goals of the "no privacy controls at all" part of this experiment. So I can't say anything about my real life unless I'm okay for it to be visible to strangers forever? How is that supposed to make me engage more?
