Saw Jurassic Park opening weekend as a teenager. Kitchen scene, timed to when the velociraptor is the lower metal cabinet where Lexi is cowering, someone throws a long-haired wig into the audience. Entire theater screamed.

Someone #onhere noted that during a recent 4hr Twitter blackout period where no users could see any posts, its owner tweeted and received 25Kish likes. So that's one data-ish point as to how much fake engagement he had engineered for himself personally...

This popped up on my feed recently. Tysm for posting. It clarified & connected a few different threads for me. Also reminded me to re-read "Who Goes Nazi." Grim times but helped me understand in a more concrete way how fascism has & will become fashionable.
