I could watch a new one of these Donald Strachey gay private eye movies every Saturday for the rest of my life. It’s cheap genre fare, but well written and well acted. This is begging to be weekly TV series, but thank LGBTubi for having all 4 of them.

Finally catching up on X-Men ‘97. Halfway through and I’m struck by just how much they have cram-packed into this series. I’m amazed how expertly done it is, but did people who weren’t familiar with the comics source material have trouble following this? Because it is A LOT.

I didn’t really like the first season of Shrinking, another bland Apple TV “comedy” that was only just mildly amusing, so I skipped the second season when it aired. I needed a mental health day and gave it a shot as background noise. It surpasses the humor and heart of the first season by a mile.
