That’s how it looks now. Twilight ends around 00:15 so I guess that’s when it gets dark

Not bad! I guess I had a tiny tailwind. The nature was stunning and the low Sun made everything look good. (No photos though. All the prettiest places were also the fastest places 😇) It’s 10 pm and the Sun is still up.

I went chasing the sunset, almost got to 50 miles 🦵

And what’s with the weirdass small “scroll to top button”? It’s not symmetrical with the “new post” button anymore. It’s also smaller and has a distracting alignment with thread lines. Looks like someone’s avatar that’s dislocated and stuck on the same position on the screen.

Why isn’t it bringing up the native share sheet? It’s like 100x more useful than DM shortcuts

The road bike 😊 Shaves two minutes off my commute too 😇 Marie will be fine, but I’ll need to get a new front axle machined. The bearings move just 0.3 millimeters but on the rim it gets multiplied by 20…

Oh yeah @crynow.bsky.social, Marie’s been on the dock for two weeks because were loose in the hub 😭

I checked the company policies and right now getting a Cursor means both talking to Those People i.e. company AI crusaders and extra bureaucracy. These are both big turn offs. Guess I’d have to see it live on someone whose judgement I trust.

Do we expect VS Code to have better support at some point?
comment in response to post
Does that mean there’s no good solution for VS Code yet?

They did at least in ‘66 when they dropped* four bombs on Palomares. *) physically dropped, not to blow stuff up** **) except for the detonators on two of them bombs but hey no nuclear explosion*** 😅 ***) just a heck ton of radioactive material all around

“If you were trying and failing to use an LLM for code 6 months ago (or, God forbid, 2 years ago with Copilot)” Yeah this is pretty much me. My then boss was an AI nut and as a result I’ve been exposed to bad UI from the start. Is it now better?

And these wankers, in particular, fly past the Finnish border to destroy homes and kill civilians. Goodbye and good riddance.

I am in awe of your legs. That’s just epic. One of the nicest things I know is riding with the kids asleep in the trailer. But they grow out of it so fast

There’s this very small nature reserve by the sea. Probably less than a square mile. The cows (and sheep) are part of the maintenance crew, grazing there every summer.

This ride in particular or all of your rides? 😮
comment in response to post
I didn’t think to take a photo but we saw cows today when riding with my kid. The crazy thing is wasn’t in the countryside 😃

I recently saw a demo where the chat input was”run this thing for me” and the button for running the thing was on the screen the whole time 😡

I could imagine some benefits for highways too. You could drive closer with better drafting, because the cars could offset the risk by communicating about their intentions and hazards
