Omgomg you guys, thank you so much for all the beautiful birthday gifts and all the love!!! It really is making me feel a lot less nervous about my surgery. I especially love the orchid and the coin purse and the cute toucan keychain. I didn't need these things but they are appreciated!

BTW: I named my dog Precious because she came from Clay, WV. The worst place in the entire U.S. of A. Clarice was not "Poor, West Virginia White Trash," and that dog didn't deserve it. I found Precious outside a "holler," abandoned as a puppy. ...Adopt dogs please.

Just taking a second to semi-brag about how much I love my car. Anyone else in the Tuscon Limited club? I'm usually a bike girl and I love my Harley but as far as cars go, this one is my all time favorite. So cute and so much fun to drive, plus I love the color.

Out of curiosity, what perfumes/colognes/scents in general do y'all usually wear? I've used Coach Poppy and Viva La Juicy for a long time now, but I recently switched to Clinique Happy which was a staple when I was a little kid. I miss the old GAP sprays as well!

These are some coloring pages that a very kind nurse printed me out after I got tipped on my motorcycle by a car. I wish I had time to color more, it was so relaxing and helped pass the time. Some of the images were clearly AI, but I didn't care, they were fun to do.

Wishing I had/could re-discover some of the wonderful old gift art, trade art, and commission art that others have done of my funny animal characters. Much of it was lost after I was uprooted from Florida, and what little I had is on my laptop in West Virginia. I would love to look at it again.

On a happier note, I'm thinking back to the days in high school when my best friend Angie and I were Nirvana-obsessed and always had a party for Kurt Cobain on his birthday. It was ritual. Happy Birthday, Kurt, and rest in peace. TYSM for your music. It made my teenage years a lot easier. 🎂

I don't mind being kind and saying nice things to people who contact me privately if they ask why I am following their art, but PLEASE understand that it's a little uncomfortable when, after I take time to compliment you, you pry and ask me "which piece exactly is your favorite," and so on.

Just got back from the doctor for my pre-surgery consultation. This one is such a good girl. She won't leave my side and she's got her concerned wrinkle-face because I never go straight to my bed and crash like this. Dogs are the best people.

Having surgery on my birthday, so I am treating myself until then. My cousin Matt is a renowned body-builder and I've been slowly following in his footsteps in workout and meal planning, but I'm cheating until the 26th. Having three packs of these until then is a good time. They're my fave.
