In this edition of my column The Audio File, we take a look at episodes 1-8 of @observableradio.com. An anthology of radio transmissions from alternate universes. Usually ones experiencing an apocalypse, a dystopia, or some other calamity. drakoniandgriffalco.blogspot.com/2025/03/the-...

From all of us in Louisiana, we wish you all a Happy Mardi Gras 👑🦞🦐🐊🎭📿⚜️

The Books of Thoth got another review on Apple Podcasts. Not sure if we’re the best podcast ever, but we certainly try our best to bring wonderful stories to our listeners. Great to hear we’re doing a good job.

The Books of Thoth got some more lovely reviews. Dan Paulson left some very nice comments on Spotify. Love, Death, and Robots is one of my absolute favorite televisions series right now. So, that is quite the compliment! I presented the comments like this as a three act story, of sorts.

The Books of Thoth got a really great, and really long, review on Apple Podcasts. It is great to hear that people love our audio quality and the music we use. As well as praise for our talented voice actors. I also feel the criticism is fair. There’s always room for improvement.

I promised you guys a Top 12 Thread to celebrate The Audiophile surpassing 380,000 views. Well here it is. So, buckle up, because here we go!

My blog The Audiophile has surpassed 380,000 views. I’m going to do a Top 12 Thread, possibly later today.

Spotify has come out with some new links to better track analytics. So, here’s a new Spotify link to The Books of Thoth. open.spotify.com/show/3hQ94fO...

A minor correction. With an apologies to my fans in Utah. This is the actual map of the states that listened to The Books of Thoth in 2024.

Seems like a good opportunity to once again share my review of The Call of the Void. The first audio drama from Silvertongue’s creators Josie Eli Herman and @michaelalanherman.bsky.social drakoniandgriffalco.blogspot.com/2022/07/the-...

Now I will reshare my review of A Different Flesh by @hntdove.bsky.social. Europeans discover not Native Americans, but Homo Erectus and ice age megafauna in the Americas. We follow the relationship between Homo Sapiens and Homo Erectus over the years drakoniandgriffalco.blogspot.com/2019/04/book...

In this edition of The Audio File we take a look at Silvertongues, a tropical science fiction thriller audio drama, set in Hawaii, from Josie Eli Herman and @michaelalanherman.bsky.social. drakoniandgriffalco.blogspot.com/2025/01/the-...

Now seems like a good time to re-share my review of Agent of Byzantium by @hntdove.bsky.social. A civil servant/secret agent has adventures in a world where Islam was never founded, and the Byzantine Empire remained strong and expansionist. drakoniandgriffalco.blogspot.com/2019/04/book...

And here is something else I did with @sealionpress.co.uk. AlloAmericana is an anthology of folktales from alternate versions of America. I contributed the story “Coyote and the Great Sturgeon.” It is set in a world where Japan colonized California. www.sealionpress.co.uk/product-page...

Now that @sealionpress.co.uk is here, I’ll share the interview I did with them back in 2022. www.sealionpress.co.uk/post/intervi...

The Books of Thoth has officially been in production for over a year. It’s time to see how we did in that year.
