It's going to cost £36k for Fraser, but he won't be working alone. There must surely be additional costs for staff and/or consultants.

Try again. The number crunching piece mentions the Labour manifesto not the Labour election victory. June 2024 is the last month before the election that figures would have been produced.

That's not the joke. It is a comment on the lengths some people will go to to achieve their desired body image.

Why? It's topical, it's factually correct, it's quite amusing, everything you would expect from a cartoon in a satirical magazine. By the way, how old do you think Pilbrow is?

Any news of meetings taking place in Clacton yet?

Except that Reform UK is both a political party and a limited company at the same time. They probably think they've found a clever way around the rules. I hope they haven't.

About as long as cordial relations last in any of Trump's marriages.

Strange mix of British satire and American adverts this time (or have you slipped a few American Gnomemart ads in?).

The letter Q at the top should be a big help to getting started.

Saw it last Saturday and really enjoyed it. I'm tempted to go again to see what clues are scattered throughout the play that lead up to the ending.

Yusuf replaced by Charlton Edwards as director of Reform UK Party Ltd. (Farage and Tice remain as directors of Reform 2025 Ltd.) find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/1626...

Clown trousers as us slightly older people called them at the time.

As director of Reform UK Party Ltd (along with Yusuf), Farage can never be removed.
comment in response to post
Yet Yusuf is a director of Reform UK Party Ltd along with Farage (for the moment, that is).

Well he must have been able to throw his voice a very long way because I never heard Emu speak.
comment in response to post
Well of course he was, after all, with a surname like his, he has to visit the country of his ancestors on a regular basis.

He's not just a poor loser, he's also a poor winner.

Paula Yates was the illegitimate daughter of Hughie Green (you probably won't know who he was either) who went on to marry Bob Geldof before leaving him for Michael Hutchence.

Semi illiterate headline yet they want all immigrants to have a very high standard of English.

If (and this is a big if) Musk did manage to colonise Mars, how much time would be gained when the Sun does eventually start to expand and Earth gets consumed before Mars suffers the same fate? Idiot.

Will they be testing Trump, his cabinet and all of his appointed department heads first or do they get a free pass?

The next step is to require an all American cast and then for all of the actors to be Republican supporters.

Have you ever watched YouTube videos of young people listening to Beatles songs for the first time? The videos can be genuinely moving as they take me back to the time when I also first heard those songs and was similarly moved (they can also sometimes be very annoying).

Possibly the first autistic character in mainstream fiction would be Dopey in the animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, way back in 1937. Non-verbal and with learning difficulties, but also definitely not diagnosed as autistic

Without doubt, The Rutles from the TV film All You Need Is Cash. The band (in various iterations) went on to have a life that far exceeded the original film.

It's part of his modus operandi. Walk away and leave your creditors deeply out of pocket. Try searching for what he did to various suppliers (especially the company that supplied $100k of grand pianos) to his Atlantic City casino, sending some of them to bankruptcy.

Quick! Someone get into that time machine and stop Trump from getting the gig on The Apprentice. Without that he would still be a failing businessman.
