I gave up coffee for a long while…worked my way through many cheap and expensive black teas (to find smoother vs. bitter). Ended up compromising with higher end decaf coffees…

It's never easy. I have gone through this about 20 times now, mostly with strays that hung about the neighborhood, but also some really really good family cats. It never gets easier. But seek comfort in their memories.
