When people claim the EU will fall behind the US on AI, one should ask: fall behind on what, exactly? It's becoming quite clear that US companies knowingly violated their own understanding of Copyright law to get ahead. The EU must not discard human rights and our values on the path to AI.

Throwback Thursday! From 2019, "Heavy Is The Crown," 24"x18", oil, is a play on Shakespeare's line from "Henry IV," "Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown." It's both a nod to the physical burden of antlers that size and the challenges that come with being the top bull during the rut. #tbt

People fuck up, but Wild Coast Raw is literally killing cats and declining to take ANY responsibility for it. My COMPLETELY INDOOR cats ate batch 22660. They are still acting like the bird flu results were fake. My stud who does not eat raw was negative. This WILL kill cats. This is evil.

www.gov.uk/government/c... If you live in the UK, setting aside 30 minutes to write your opinion on this issue can have massive impact. They are pursuing massive exemptions to Copyright to allow AI companies to scrape the web. Opt-Out is unworkable. Demand they must License artists work to use it.
